ITS is currently investigating different options in regard to the delivery of technology training:

• The software training videotapes previously housed at Weeg are now available through UI Learning and Development.
• We are also researching the possibility of having outside vendors delivering training on campus. Please contact us if you have a specific need in regard to technology training.
• Through SkillSoft as well as the UI Libraries, UI faculty, staff and students are eligible to become members of Books 24X7. Through this site, you are able to access the contents of a large selection of manuals on many of the software topics that were covered in our instructor led classes.
• We will be making updates to this web site regarding developments in the delivery of technology training. You may want to subscribe to our training mailing list to receive automatic e-mail announcements of any updates.

Learning Online with SkillSoft

You can now learn computer software & technologies (and much more) without ever attending a training class. The University of Iowa has made available over 377 online professional development courses that all faculty, staff and students can access with their HawkID.
