There is a lot of information available on-line on how to make web pages accessible. There are also some useful tools to assist with this process, they are listed below:

Accessibility Guidelines with HTML Examples


Web checkers

  • Bobby is a web-based public service offered by the Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST) that analyzes web pages for their accessibility to people with disabilities as well as their compatibility with various browsers.
  • HTML 4 Validator from W3C
  • The Wave from Pennsylvania's Initiative on Assistive Technology

Web Accessibility Logo Programs

If your website meets certain accessibility standards, you may be eligible to use logos from one of these web accessibility validators on your webpage:
