What is
TNSConnect?
The ITS/TNS Facilities Management
System (FMS), branded
TNSConnect,
which is a software
package/database application that is the foundation of the
TNS information architecture which tracks voice, video and
data equipment and infrastructure, billing data, work orders
and trouble tickets.
This is a new system in the process
of implementation. The system will manage more than 112,000
individual service locations, 8,000,000 call detail records,
10,000 work order records, and 45,000 voice and data service
records.
In January 2006, ITS/TNS contracted
with Compco, Inc. of Brentwood, TN to implement their web-based
software package called Mysoft.Net. Implementation began
in March 2006 and
Phase 1 was implemented December 1st 2007
