Telecommunication and Network Services, a department of Information Technology Services, has embarked on a major equipment replacement project that will have campus-wide impact. This web site is designed to answer your questions about the project. We hope you will take a few minutes to look around.

The Telephone Switch Replacement Project (TSRP) has many facets, but it is driven by the need to replace aging equipment providing our campus telephone services. TSRP will replace the existing telephone switches (the equipment that provides dial tone on the campus) with newer models that include some new features. TSRP will also begin to build the foundation for deployment of advanced telephony functions using Voice over IP components.

As the project progresses and we learn more about the capabilities of the new telephone switching equipment, this site will update schedule information, new services and enhancements, descriptions of new features and functionality, telephone instruments, and pricing for some of the new, advanced features.
