This website provides information about streaming video services supported
by ITS and various campus partners. If you'd like an introduction to streaming video,

page. The Video On Demand page explains the steps
in the process from video creation to delivery through the streaming server,
including obtaining space on the server and costs. Likewise for Webcasting.
The Assistance for Viewers page has example videos,
plus information on obtaining video players.
The streaming of video and audio programs can be requested by any University
faculty, staff, or organization for viewing by the general public or specific
groups, like a class. The service includes both Video-On-Demand and Webcasting
capabilities. Supported formats include:
- MPEG
- MP3
- QuickTime (version 6)
- Windows Media (version 8)
ITS Video Services supports the streaming server application,
with additional groups around campus assisting with the preparation of programs
for streaming. Some of these groups also manage their own disk space allocation
on the streaming server. Contact your collegiate or departmental IT support
