Voice Services - Music on Hold

Until recently, callers placed on hold heard silence until their call was retrieved.  Now instead of silence, a caller will hear the University’s classical station KSUI (91.7 FM) when placed on hold.

Please note:  Not all campus telephone switches support Music on Hold.  Customers calling the following locations will not hear music on hold; Mossman Services Building, Coral Center, University Surplus, U.S. Bank Building, 509 Kirkwood (a.k.a. MVL Properties), and 320 South Linn.

Music on Hold Opt-Out:
You have the option of preventing callers you place on hold from hearing music.  Please submit a completed no cost blue requisition to ITS/TNS to have music on hold removed from your telephone line.
