Problem: My Phone is dead. |

Are all cords plugged in tight? |
|

Is line cord plugged into correct portion of jack? |
|
|
Unplug line cord from back of telephone and plug it back in; this acts
as a reset. |

Problem: My phone doesn't ring. |
|
|
Is the ringer on the side of your phone turned off? |
|
|
Check the SPK VOL on the side of your phone to see if it's turned down |
|

Is "call forwarding all calls" (CFA) Set? To remove, pick up handset
and press # 7 |

|
|
|
|
Problem: Speed dials not working. |
|
|
Try reprogramming buttons to see if you may have lost memory for some
reason. |

Your soft key right underneith it has been pressed. Press again and it
should now show "HSET" not flashing |

Problem: Can not get a dial tone and display reads "HANG UP!" |

Press soft key to the left of the help button. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Problem: Telephone doesn't ring. |
|
|
Is ringer turned up? While phone should be ringing, press the up arrow
to change volume of ringer |

You should have a button labeled FNC/Feature. Do not lift handset but
press FNC/Feature button and then press 1. Your MIC light should now
come on. |
