CODE REGISTRATION
1.
Launch a web browser and type http://isis.uiowa.edu
2.
Type your Hawk ID and Hawk ID password, and
click the login button. If you have forgotten, or
don’t know, your password, you can
call the ITS Help Desk to have your password reset Monday - Thursday 8:00.a.m.
-8:00.p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and Sunday
5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
3.
Click on the “Student Records”
link in the ISIS Quick Menu area.
4.
Click on the “Phone
Authorization Codes” link.
5.
Read the information and click on the link at the bottom of the page.
6.
Read the Terms and Conditions, and click on the “I
agree to these terms” button.
7.
Your authorization code will be displayed on the
screen. You
may wish to jot it down, BUT keep it confidential. You are responsible for any
charges for calls made using this code.
8.
Click on “Return to the Main
Phone Authorization Codes” page. You will see the authorization code(s)
that have been issued to you. Please remember you may get only two
codes through ISIS. For
additional codes, come to the ITS Customer Information Desk, 100 Lindquist
Center South, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Be sure to bring your student I.D.
9.
Click on the
“LOGOUT” button
in the top right hand corner of the screen.
10.
Exit your web browser.

Your
authorization code is effective immediately.

Hints

If you have forgotten your authorization code, you
can view it on-line (see steps 1-- 4 above)
·
If your authorization code has been lost, stolen,
or is no longer needed, you should deactivate it as
soon as possible! This can be
done on-line (see steps 1—4 above), or come to the ITS Customer Information
Desk at (319) 384-0800, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This code may be used in any residence hall or
university apartment on campus.

The Hawk ID tools are designed to help
you manage your Hawk ID password. You can reset, change, or unlock
your password. You can also look up and test your Hawk ID, all
without having to call the Help Desk. This gives you a way to take
care of account problems after hours when the support desks
are closed.
In order to use the online reset and
unlock features, you must enroll online.
